Sustainable development, Eco-citizenship approach
Our campsite is committed to sustainable development. We have implemented a comprehensive approach aimed at reducing our water and energy consumption and limiting the campsite's impact on nature.
The entire team (permanent and seasonal staff) adheres to a charter promoting eco-friendly practices in their professional activities, as well as raising awareness of disabilities and the four main types of impairment, to provide better support.
Our eco-responsible commitments:
- The sanitary facilities, public water points and rental accommodation are equipped with water-saving devices. A sanitary facility is available for people with reduced mobility.
- Day/night detection cells for lighting the campsite paths, now provided by solar lighting.
- All rental accommodation, sanitary facilities and public lighting are equipped with low-energy light bulbs.
- Electrical equipment (refrigerators, ovens, etc.) in rental accommodation is classified as energy efficiency category A or A+.
- The campsite has a dedicated area for waste sorting and composting.
- The cleaning products we use are eco-certified (European Ecolabel/Ecocert).
- Reuse of used paper as scrap paper.
- We encourage communication by email.
- Plants watered with rainwater collection
- Vehicles are not permitted on the campsite between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
- Used batteries and light bulbs can be recycled at reception.
- The water in the sanitary facilities and part of the water in the swimming pool is heated using solar panels.
- We welcome your opinions and suggestions to help us improve our environmental approach.
- Le Ranch campsite has been awarded the Camping Qualité label. This national quality charter brings together campsites that adhere to strict and specific commitments and undergo regular checks on more than 600 criteria to ensure you have the best possible stay.
What guests can do to participate in our sustainable development approach:
- Limit water and energy consumption by turning off electrical appliances and lights when not in use. Turn off the water and unplug equipment during prolonged absences.
- Participate in waste sorting using the containers provided for this purpose at the side of the road.
- Dispose of batteries in the collection box provided in the reception office.
We provide guests with brochures and ‘Mémotris’ to help them in their eco-responsible efforts.
